Phi Phi Islands
Koh Phi Phi consists of 2 islands about 45 minutes away from Phuket island. After Phuket this is the most popular destination to tourists in Thailand, especially from December till Februari when all rooms on the island will be fully booked. Phang Nga Bay

Wat Chalong ( temple )
Wat Chalong is situated south of Phuket town and is considered the most beautifull temple on the island. You will find alot of Thais here coming to be blessed by the monks and receive a good luck charm that looks like a small piece of string tied around the wrist, you can see this all over Thailand even with some of the tourists who come to these temples.

You can get there by a short trip on foot, if even airconditioning can't cool you down maybe Kathu waterfall can relieve you from some of the heat. It's best seen in the raining season from July till October. Located in Kathu district near the Loch Palm golf course.
Muay Thai shows
Muay Thai boxing is the national sport of Thailand, its a martial arts that has been practiced in Thailand for centuries. In Thai boxing fighters use fists, elbows, knees and their legs to attack their opponent, using their fists is almost identical to normal style boxing.
There are fights being organised every night at a special built stadium on Bangla road. These fights are aimed at tourists but can give an exciting show nonetheless.
For main boxing events you'd have to travel to the Phuket boxing stadium, in the Saphan Hin District of Phuket city. Fights are being organised every friday evening from about 8 o'clock.
